Steering Post Extension Detail

012701-191.jpg

Bottom view. There are two details of interest here.
  1. The hole for the locking pin with the opening of the clamping joint. The clamp covers the locking pin and must be rotated to see it. This pin has to be removed before the steering post extension can be removed.
  2. The hole for the steering lock on the lower portion of the post extension. My '66 car does not have a steering lock which simplified dissassembly considerably.
