- Notice the dowel pin in the shaft visible in the compression slot.
- After removing the bolt, the clamp may have to be spread slightly
to provide clearance of for the dowel pin before the shaft can be
removed from the universal joint. Otherwise there is danger of
breaking off the dowel pin.
