Lower Steering Universal Dissassembly
- The Allen bolts have been removed from the bushing cap.
- The two bolts on the universal joint have been removed.
- Now the universal can be removed by first loosening the lower clamp
by spreading it by twisting with a large screwdriver.
- Pull the universal joint off the lower shaft.
- This picture has been converted to black & white because it was
illuminated with both a flourescent bulb and a tungsten lamp. The
color temperature of these two lamps was significantly different,
turning the colors quite garish.
