Disconnect the Shift Coupler Craig Norton The shift coupler is disconnected from the change shaft out of the transmission. There is a bolt with a tapered nose that holds these parts together. If this is not done as shown, and the transmission is not removed carefully, the shaft can be bent. If bent it will be very difficult to keep the oil seal from leaking that goes around this shaft. |
