Pedal Cluster After Removal

122600-99.jpg

  • The original plastic bushings for the throttle and brake shafts have disappeared.
  • The clutch bushings are beginning to go.
  • In the lower left corner is the clutch clevis arm. The plastic bushing is in good condition.
  • It is not uncommon for the clevis bushing to wear out and for the side of the arm to wear severely. If this occurs on your car, it can be welded and re-drilled to repair.
  • The clutch arm was frozen on the shaft. We got the old roll pin removed at an automotive machine shop. A combination of a gear puller and propane torch finally freed the arm from the shaft.
