Heater Gate Valve after Adjustment

• Fully off position. The control lever is as far from the cable end as possible.
• I turned the lever upside down from the factory position because it seemed to match the position of the cable guide better.
• The lever is clamped to the gate valve shaft by the compression of the bolt. There is a flexible washer between the lever and the gate valve housing.
• The gate valve is spring loaded to the open position as shown. It is not apparent how to replace this spring if required.
• The red color is from rust inhibiting primer.
