Extension Mounted on the Short Shifter Here is the assembled short shifter with the extension mounted on it. We added some more epoxy to the threads of the stud in order to secure the extension into the shaft of the short shifter. A bit of cleanup was required to the threads before the shift knob screwed on correctly. It remains to be seen if this arrangement will be strong enough for normal use. The strength of the epoxy is claimed to be quite high. |
