Bottom Surface Of Short Shifter Plate

To accommodate the bump in the heater control bracket,

  1. Place the shifter plate on the aluminum spacer. There is a hole in the plate for the heater control bracket bump. When you are happy with the alignment, draw a pencil circle on the aluminum using the hole the the plate as your guide.
  2. Center punch the center of the penciled circle.
  3. Drill a small pilot hole through the plate at the center punch.
  4. Turn the plate over and drill a shallow hole in the plate for the heater control bracket bump.
