Inside of Driver's Door
- The silver material at the lower left is Dynamat Xtreme sound
insulation - a superior material. The door will sound dead and solid
if this material is installed.
- The rod is is for the door lock. Notice the felt on this rod. Be
sure the felt is on between the rod and the door panel or it will
rattle. There is another point where the rod goes under the outer
panel that also requires a felt pad to prevent rattling.
- There are also sound insulation material on the outer panels.
This is intended to stop any resonances from occurring. Xtreme sound
insulation would have been a better choice.
