Bottom of Door Sill
- This picture shows the chrome strip at the edge of the carpet on
the door sill installed correctly.
- Notice that the mounting holes are not in the center of the
strip. The strip on the drivers door was reversed, with the wide side
toward the outside of the car.
- It was covering a significant portion of the rubber door seal and
prevented the door from closing properly.
- Until I spotted this problem, I thought perhaps the door had been
mounted incorrectly when the car was painted in the '70s.
