| The hole in the door has to be enlarged to fit the new design lock.
- The hole in the door must be enlarged to 33 mm (1.3 in.) to fit a
new design door lock.
- A template can be made of paper. Make a 1.3 in. circle on the paper
and cut out the hole with scissors.
- Use transparent packing tape to fasten the paper on the door.
- Use a grinding wheel on a Dremmel to increase the diameter of the
hole.

| The wiring makes removing the lower pin a bit tedious. Later model
years filled the area under the cowl with fans and other items making
it more work to gain access.
On the other hand, there was no fresh air fan this model year.

| To install the tool, remove the main jet
carrier and then remove the main jet and screw it into the end of the
P78 tool.

| The fiber washer shown can usually be used only once, and then it
tends to leak. You can check for a leak by touching the bottom of the
main jet carrier for dampness from gasoline.
The diameter of this carrier at the point the washer is fitted is 10.94
mm. The inside diameter of this fiber washer is 11.2 mm and the
outside diameter is 14.0 mm.
