Removing and Refitting Regulator Switch
Removal
- Disconnect battery.
- Remove leads from regulator.
- Undo fixing bolts and detach regula tor.
Refitting
The following should be noted:
- When exchanging the regulator first check that there is no short
to earth in the field coils of the generator.
- Connect cables as per wiring diagram on regulator housing.
- Polarise generator (see 5 LI note).
- If incorrect values are obtained even after fitment of a new
regulator either the generator or the wiring system is not in order
and a Bosch service station should be contacted.
