New Generation Regulator The new design looks something of a kludge with two cans filled with black epoxy spot welded together. Part of the design is to allow direct mechanical replacement with the old version. The electrical connections now are on the top surface leading to a cleaner appearance, however the instructions have be be noted so you add the ground wire from the tabs to chassis ground. I suspect the unit will be flaky if that is not done. |
