"Two and a half years ago for my 15th birthday I bought myself a 1967
Porsche 912... I've spent the past three years getting it restored."

We have exchanged several emails on various details of the car as he
was getting it ready to take it to the University.
"I'm going to drive it to school and work tomorrow so hopefully it'll
make the trip. I'll let you know how it goes." - 10/3/01

"Hi, I just thought I'd let you know how the car is running since
you've been such a big help with getting it there...
The car seems to be running really well though. I had to readjust the
shift linkage a bit this morning (I only had 3rd and 5th for a while),
but other than that not one thing has gone wrong. I've driven it 166
miles according to the odometer. It's just the slightest bit above
half a tank so it looks like it's getting about 20.25 miles per
gallon. It's mainly being driven in the city too so for Webers that
sounds like really good gas mileage. It'll probably get about 25 on
the highway. Not having fourth gear is a bit of a pain, but other
than that the car is doing great. I installed a new original clock
too so all of the gauges are working now. I'm still putting the
interior together as I can afford to and I'm about to put a CD player
in it. After that I should be ready to paint it. Other than that
there just seem to be a few very minor things to work on. Anyway, I
just thought you might like to know how the car was turning out. I
attached two pictures of it that I took a couple of days ago in case
you'd like to see it. Thanks again for all of the help with the car
and I'll let you know how the rest of the restoration goes." - 10/6/01

Andrew, we wish you the very best in your studies and hope your car
does not require too much maintenance to keep serving you well.
