Porsche 936

In 1976 made the 936 Tubo Spyder for the Le Mans campaign of 1977. Only three were built. The Porsche Museum has two of them. The third is chassis 936-001 owned by Bruce Canepa. It won the 1977 24 hrs of Le Mans.

  • 1976 - Joest/Barth - DNF (2nd place thrue 15 hrs)
  • 1977 - Ickx/Haywood/Barth - 1st
  • 1978 - Ickx/Wollek/Barth - 2nd
  • 1979 - Wollek/Haywood - DNF (5th thru 19 hrs)
  • 1981 - Mass/Schuppan/Haywood - 12th
