Now we can start putting the engine back together.
Reassemble engine in reversed order of the above, noting the
following points:
- 1. Thoroughly clean crankcase parts, flush oil
passages with clean gasoline, install oil drain
plug.
- 2. Install bearing inserts for Bearing 2 and 3 into
the right and left crankcase halves.
- 3. Lubricate valve lifters with graphite oil and
install.
