Worn Out Tie Rod and Lower Ball Joint

181-529-18.jpg

  • Here is one of the tie rod and ball joints removed from the car.
  • You can see that the tie rod end has no grease remaining in the socket. The ball is loose in the socket causing rattling sounds from the front end when traversing bumps particularly at low speeds.
  • The ball joint is nearly as bad.
