944 Seat Bottom Showing Rails and Spacers
- The bottom of the 944 drivers seat
- You can see the rails that allow this seat to be used with the
wider track width of early 900 series cars.
- The spacers are a 1 in. square steel tube cut to 14 in. long
between the seat rail and the track width adjusting rail to raise the
seat by an inch.
- Now I sit high enough to see most of the view through the outside
rear view mirror in a seat that is much more comfortable than the original!
