- Purchase new in June, 1966 from the Volvo dealer in Massapequa, New York.
- Is recognized by "The Guinness Book of Records" as the record
holder for "the highest certified mileage driven by the original owner
in non-commercial service".
- Passed the one million mile mark in 1987.
- Engine was rebuilt at 675,000 miles.
- Serviced and maintained by the owner and Volvo dealers.
- Has been driven in all states, Canada and parts of Europe.
- Mr. Gordon drove the car to Laguna Seca and will next go to the
National Volvo Sport America event in Vancouver, BC.
