902 Engine - 009 Distributor

021129-1493.jpg

A race car runs most of the time at full throttle or hard breaking. Although the 009 distributor is not the best choice for a street car because is has a limited advance curve, it works well for the race car. To get enough advance at full throttle the timing is set at high rpm rather than idle. As a result, the car does not run well at low RPM.

John also has a rev limiting rotor that is good for aggressive driving.

He has also used the 022 distributor.
