Damage From Rock A piece of concrete hit my car and did this damage. The hood needed to be refinished. This problem will speed up the process. It will be interesting to see the condition of the hood. There is quite a bit of thickness of old paint and dare I say 'Bondo' - filler - above the point of impact. The original plan was to use chemical stripper and take the hood down to bare metal. We really don't know the condition of the metal under the old finish. |
