Engine Compartment - Engine Removed

021019_1401.jpg

The electrical connectors shown are on the 1969 model and not earlier years. The connector make it easy to remove the wiring from the engine compartment so it could be cleaned and painted without painting the cabling.

The rubber seals around the edge of the engine are mounted on the engine compartment, not on the sheet metal attached to the engine. In either case, it is probably bad and should be replaced. These seals are a critical component for engine cooling.
