Rust in Rocker Panel - Door Jam

020504-1053.jpg

The cause of this damage is from dirt and perhaps some salt getting trapped in an area in front of the rear wheel wheels where the fender, door jam and rocker panels come together. Any small pepples could strike the areas with enough force to cut through paint or undercoat. Then the area gets packed with dirt which can retain moisture. Over enough time this became a breeding point for rust.
