Windshield Washer Bottle Detail This shows the washer bottle and the pump mounted just in front of the battery. I have the bottle, but until now had not known where it was supposed to be mounted for the '66 model. The washer system changed frequently in the early years judging by the different configurations shown in the parts manual. This version is placed so that leaks from the bottle or the pump will wash spilled battery acid down into the bottom pan area, encouraging rust! Patrick's car just had the front pan restored. |
